Medication Assisted Treatment Using Vivitrol: Vivitrol is a long-acting injectable (LAI) medication.
It is given once a month (every 28 days) for:
• Treatment of alcohol dependence
• Prevention of relapse to opioid dependence, after opioid detoxification
****(You must be opioid free for at least 14 days prior to starting this medication or abrupt withdrawal will occur) ****
Vivitrol can manage symptoms that result from alcohol or opioid use disorder, that may negatively affect daily life. Treatment with Vivitrol can help restore overall mental well-being as well as improving physical health.
Injections will be given once a month. Insurance/payments accepted include the following:
Anthem
United (UMR and Optum)
All forms of Indiana Medicaid
Private pay-to include credit, debit, or Health Savings Account (HSA)
